‘Is Mitt Minding The Store?’
Election 2012 piece by Aaron Goldstein (1/31/12)

Mitt Romney’s performance in last Thursday’s GOP debate in Jacksonville was widely praised for his assertiveness against Newt Gingrich and it may have effectively neutralized the former House Speaker’s victory five days earlier in South Carolina. If Romney earns a decisive victory in Florida, it could prove to be the turning point in winning the Republican nomination. But his debate performance should have instead raised a big red flag.

Correctly Framing the 2012 Elections
Election 2012 piece by Christopher G. Adamo (12/29/11)

As the nation lurches into the 2012 election season, the propagandists of the liberal media have gone into high gear. Their singular job is to prevent the American people from correctly assessing the precarious condition of their country, what needs to be done about it and, most dangerously of all, who among the major Republican contenders could best assume the helm of the nation’s government in order to implement a proper course of action.

Evidence, finally, of Democrat naivete
Useful Idiots piece by Gary Krasner (12/22/11)

Democrats created what they thought was a good wedge issue in foreign policy, and since about 2006 or so----after the Iraq war became sufficiently unpopular----they advanced it in the form of the mantra, “we must talk to our enemies.”

The Correct Answer
Foreign Policy piece by Gary Krasner (12/11/11)

The ABC News candidate’s debate has just concluded.  I will give the correct answer to one of the questions.

Topeka, Kansas, Unified School District 501 Places Sexual Deviancy on Its Curriculum
Edukshun piece by Paul A. Ibbetson (11/26/11)

What part should schools play in the personal development of our children? Most parents naturally expect teachers and administrative staff to assist their children in learning important skills like reading, writing, and arithmetic, but we now know a child’s development goes far beyond the basics at school. Upon closer inspection, most parents recognize that schools often teach children additional skills, such as how to interact with others, follow rules, think critically, and in many cases, develop career aspirations for what their Mom’s and Dad’s hope will be a bright and happy future. All this instruction is positive and benefits our children. However, there is more still that students will learn.

‘For What Purpose Was the Fed Created?’
Progressivism piece by Thomas Brewton (3/8/08)

The role of the Federal Reserve has changed enormously, not for the good, since its creation in 1913.

Superfund turns Rational into Irrational
General piece by Kevin Roeten (3/8/08)

In a true local scenario, the word “superfund” has turned normally cogent people into irrational human beings. When one hears the words possible carcinogen, all rational thought is thrown out the window, because now the locals are involved.

Reps Push Immigration Realism
Congress piece by Grant Swank (3/7/08)

Immigration reform via Reps’ bill was presented dated March 5, 2008.

Keep It Simple Primary and Caucus Reform
Misc. piece by Adam Graham (3/7/08)

There seems to be growing consensus around the need to reform the Presidential nominating process. Few like the way our current system works, and there are a wide range of proposals to change it.

Bush Wins A Gold Medal In Ignorance
General piece by Dave Gibson (3/7/08)

President Bush is planning to attend the Olympics this summer in China. In doing so, he delivers a slap in the face to every American whose factory job was relocated to China; every American whose pet was poisoned by tainted Chinese wheat gluten; every American whose child has played with lead-laden Chinese toys; and every American who is sickened and angered by China’s use of slave labor...In short, Bush will show his disregard for all of us as he sports his moronic smirk in Beijing this August.

Why Most Voters Shouldn’t Vote
Elections piece by Selwyn Duke (3/7/08)

Often the most fanciful ideas become the least questioned assumptions.  In this election season a few have made themselves apparent, such as the notion that “change” is good by definition and “experience” is definitely good.  Yet an even better example is the oft-repeated platitude that greater voter participation yields a healthier republic.

Covering Education in 2008
Edukshun piece by AccuracyInMedia: Bethany Stotts (3/7/08)

Although a compelling issue in the 2000 elections, educational issues have been eclipsed by security concerns in the War on Terror and growing fears about America’s global competitiveness. “In a July 2007 Harris poll, [2000 polling] had fallen from 25% to 7%, naming education as one of the top two issues they wanted the federal government to address,” noted American Enterprise Institute scholar Frederick Hess at a March event. Hess pointed out that the percentage of Americans considering education the most important election issue dropped from 16% in March 2007 to 4% in October of the same year.

Hyper-sexualizing Girls
Progressivism piece by Guest: Marsha West (3/7/08)

I grew up in an era when girls were not pampered the way they are today.  My sister and I helped around the house from the time I can remember.  We did everything from vacuuming and ironing, to cleaning up the kitchen after meals.  Even my younger brother washed and dried the dishes.  Everyone pitched in to help.

Kosovo, the European Union’s New Colony
NewWorldOrder piece by Mary Mostert (3/7/08)

My first reaction to media reports on February 16 of jubilant Albanians in Kosovo gleefully celebrating their “independence” from Serbia was simple bewilderment. In the first place, I noted from pictures of their jubilation that they are not waving a Kosovo flag. What they wave is the flag of Albania.

Bipartisan Crimes Against the Constitution
Congress piece by Cliff Kincaid (3/6/08)

The liberals have come up with a clever way of ratifying dangerous treaties, which now require a two-thirds vote (67) to pass in the Senate. They will introduce them as legislation, requiring only a majority vote to pass. The model for this new approach is the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which President Bush mistakenly refers to as a treaty.

High School Officials Assign Racist “Gay” Porn
Edukshun piece by PressRelease: Matt Barber (3/6/08)

State officials say it violates obscenity law but they can’t prosecute school officials. - Washington, D.C. - Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Illinois, had assigned the pornographic book “Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes” to students as required reading.  When a group of outraged parents found out, they filed a formal complaint.  Now the book has been changed to an “optional title,” meaning kids may still select the book for peer study under the direction of a teacher.

Clintons Prepare Obama Slam
Elections piece by Grant Swank (3/6/08)

Per New York Times’ Patrick Healy: “Harold Ickes, a senior adviser to Senator Hillary Clinton, said on the conference call that the Clinton campaign’s chief objective was not to sully Mr. Barack Obama’s image or record, but to cast a spotlight on lightly examined or unknown aspects of both.

The Forgotten War in Somalia
General piece by Jim Kouri (3/6/08)

Somalia has lacked a functioning central government since 1991. In December 2006, the Ethiopian military intervened in Somalia to support Somalia’s transitional government, opening what many considered a window of opportunity to rebuild the country and restore effective governance.

Hillary’s Scheme to Revamp the Traditional Family
Elections piece by Carey Roberts (3/6/08)

Hillary Clinton’s personal life has long made a mockery of traditional family values - her betrothal to a serial womanizer, the refusal to have a traditional wedding, and her smears of the females who later accused her husband of sexual impropriety.

WaPo Editor: ‘I Want More Muslim Journalists’
MSM piece by Warner Todd Huston (3/6/08)

Philip Bennett, the Washington Post’s managing editor, paid a visit to the University of California, Irvine for a little chat earlier this week. During his comments on the subject of religion and politics, Bennett claimed that the MSM should hire more Muslims because the media has too many misconceptions about Islam. Bennett told the UCI audience, “At the Post I want more Muslim readers and I want more Muslim journalists.” One wonders how far this new understanding of Islam in the media will go for Bennett, though? Will his desire to be inclusive and to create a new politically correct understanding go as far as excusing Islamofascism as we try to better understand Islam?

Salvaging the “Stimulus” Package
Elections piece by Christopher G. Adamo (3/6/08)

Nobody should be surprised to see side-by-side headlines proclaiming that oil is hitting record prices while the dollar is dropping to new lows against foreign currencies. The pieces fit. As America is forced to expend ever more of its monetary supply in order to procure basic commodities from other countries, foreign powers gain greater and greater control of our wealth and our destiny. Consequently, our bargaining position on the international economic scene grows weaker.

Trinity Broadcasting Network Honored by Parents Television Council
MSM piece by Michael Bresciani (3/5/08)

Almost 50 years ago FCC Commissioner Newton N. Minow gave his speech
titled “Television and the Public Interest.” If the top communications
dog had little good to say about TV in May of 1961 what would he say about
it today?

Clinton Loses the Numbers Game. Obama Wins Math
Elections piece by Grant Swank (3/5/08)

Hillary Clinton hoopla in place. Get ready, get set, keep running.

Basic Economic Principles the Left Cannot Grasp
Bird-Brain Flu piece by Dennis Campbell (3/5/08)

I am no economist, but I can comprehend basic economic principles. Apparently, that puts me miles ahead of your typical liberal.

Obama-Baiting
Elections piece by James Atticus Bowden (3/5/08)

Speaking Obama’s whole name, Barack Hussein Obama, is attacking Obama.  According to Liberals.  It’s a racist, anti-Muslim baiting of Obama.  Because the name Barack Obama points to Africa.  The name Hussein points to Islam.  His name “plays on the fears of voters.” It doesn’t matter that his name is his name.  Speaking the truth about Obama, even in saying Obama’s name, provides racist, anti-Muslim clues to voters.  When Obama becomes the Democrat candidate, simply opposing Obama will be racist and anti-Muslim bigotry.  Liberals will Obama-bait.

Today’s Immigrants See Much Less Discrimination Than Past Minorities
Progressivism piece by Warner Todd Huston (3/5/08)

You know, words mean things, right? That having been said, the Washington Post today employed a subtle wording in a headline that turns people who stand against illegal immigration into people who hate the immigrants themselves.

Banks Stick Foreigner-Scammed Consumers
General piece by Erik Rush (3/5/08)

In December of 2007, someone close to me was contacted by a company that had come across their resume on one of the large Internet job sites. They were contracted for a short-term project that ended in mid-January 2008. Toward the end of January, they were alerted by their bank (a very large commercial bank) to the fact that the cashier’s checks they had received from this company in payment had been counterfeit, and that they were personally responsible for the cumulative balance of the transactions, or some $10,000, plus fees.

Satellite Makes Missile Defense Ominous
General piece by Kevin Roeten (3/5/08)

All of a sudden the world of ballistic missile defense gets ominous. Powers that were considered super-powers are not that super any more. People who actually understand ballistic missile defense may not have a concept of what it really entails.

‘Project Lifeline: Collaboration or Intimidation?’
Big Brother piece by Ayn Rand Institute: Alex Epstein (3/5/08)

Since the subprime meltdown began, the Bush administration has pledged to act to prevent foreclosures--but without interfering in the market or bailing anyone out. How is this possible? The administration’s answer: by “facilitating” what it calls “private” initiatives to prevent foreclosures. In December the administration announced, in conjunction with mortgage industry leaders, HOPE NOW--a “private sector effort” to give hundreds of thousands of subprime borrowers a free, five-year extension on low introductory teaser rates. Now, the administration has announced Project Lifeline, under which participating servicers (those who collect loan payments for mortgage investors) will offer a 30-day pause in the foreclosure process to borrowers whose mortgage payments are 90 or more days overdue.

New Report Provides Roadmap for Education Reform
Edukshun piece by GoldwaterInstitute: Matthew Ladner (3/5/08)

Report offers recommendations for strengthening existing programs and new ideas to consider - Phoenix--We’ve come a long way, baby! In just 14 years, Arizona has gone from having no school choice programs to leading the nation in parental choice. A new report released today by the Goldwater Institute takes stock of the existing school choice programs, makes recommendations to improve each one, and outlines new programs the state could create to provide even more opportunities for Arizona schoolchildren.

To Be Conservative In America
Republicrats piece by JB Williams (3/5/08)

America’s conservative party, the Grand Ole Republican Party, is so fractured down ideological lines that it has not been able to advance a real conservative candidate in a quarter century, since Reagan won re-election twenty four years ago in 1984.

Personal Reminiscences of the late William F. Buckley, Jr.
General piece by Paul M. Weyrich (3/5/08)

When a great leader passes away everyone who has met that leader has a story. Here is mine. A judge in my hometown, Richard G. Harvey, Jr., who was a strong conservative, in 1960 invited William F. Buckley, Jr., to his home. He invited yours truly and my mentor J. Frederic (Fritz) Rench and 50 of his other close friends to hear him give a talk. That was the first time I had met him. Next, a group of us were in Hong Kong and as it turned out were in the same hotel as Buckley. He graciously invited our delegation, one of whom was a Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) leader, to his hotel suite. There were only about ten of us so this time I actually was able to speak directly with him. A few years later, THE WASHINGTON POST ran a series of articles on the late Joe Coors and his conservative politics coming to Washington. I was his spokesman so I was widely quoted in the article. Not too long afterward I got a call from Buckley’s office. The request was that I have dinner with him in New York. So I went to New York and met him at one of his favorite haunts. We had a very pleasant dinner. He wanted to know about everything we were doing in Washington. The meeting turned out to be beneficial from my point of view. I had not always been well treated by THE NATIONAL REVIEW crowd. They took the view that because I had not consulted with them in helping to organize the Heritage Foundation, the Senate Steering Committee and the House Republican Study Committee, I must have believed that they had no legitimacy, since they had been there first.

There is more to life than sensual gratification.

Ted Turner, Larry King, Ross Perot, CNN Created the ‘Corrupt’ Clintons!
Demercrats piece by Gordon Bishop (3/3/08)

How did the Clintons come to power in the 1990s - and then lead America down the road to Sodom Gomorrah?

The Science of Female Supremacy: An Interview with Steve Moxon
Femi-Nazis piece by Bernard Chapin (3/3/08)

I’ve been interviewing political authors and figures for five years. Never once have I posed more than 10 questions to a subject. In the case of Steve Moxon, who has just released “The Woman Racket: The New Science Explaining How the Sexes Relate at Work, at Play and in Society”, I asked 14. My enthusiasm is quite appropriate, however. The Woman Racket is a tour de force and a classic which should be read again and again. Previously, Mr. Moxon authored “The Great Immigration Scandal” which was a result of his time spent as a Home Office immigration caseworker. He blew the whistle on widespread abuse and the nature of the government’s policy of “Managed Migration” and was then duly fired. Mr. Moxon also pens a blog which debates “political correctness fascism” and counters journalists’ misguided take on immigration and male-female issues.
