‘Is Mitt Minding The Store?’
Election 2012 piece by Aaron Goldstein
(1/31/12)
Mitt Romney’s performance in last Thursday’s GOP debate in Jacksonville was widely praised for his assertiveness against Newt Gingrich and it may have effectively neutralized the former House Speaker’s victory five days earlier in South Carolina. If Romney earns a decisive victory in Florida, it could prove to be the turning point in winning the Republican nomination. But his debate performance should have instead raised a big red flag.

Correctly Framing the 2012 Elections
Election 2012 piece by Christopher G. Adamo
(12/29/11)
As the nation lurches into the 2012 election season, the propagandists of the liberal media have gone into high gear. Their singular job is to prevent the American people from correctly assessing the precarious condition of their country, what needs to be done about it and, most dangerously of all, who among the major Republican contenders could best assume the helm of the nation’s government in order to implement a proper course of action.

Evidence, finally, of Democrat naivete
Useful Idiots piece by Gary Krasner
(12/22/11)
Democrats created what they thought was a good wedge issue in foreign policy, and since about 2006 or so----after the Iraq war became sufficiently unpopular----they advanced it in the form of the mantra, “we must talk to our enemies.”

Topeka, Kansas, Unified School District 501 Places Sexual Deviancy on Its Curriculum
Edukshun piece by Paul A. Ibbetson
(11/26/11)
What part should schools play in the personal development of our children? Most parents naturally expect teachers and administrative staff to assist their children in learning important skills like reading, writing, and arithmetic, but we now know a child’s development goes far beyond the basics at school. Upon closer inspection, most parents recognize that schools often teach children additional skills, such as how to interact with others, follow rules, think critically, and in many cases, develop career aspirations for what their Mom’s and Dad’s hope will be a bright and happy future. All this instruction is positive and benefits our children. However, there is more still that students will learn.

‘Diversity’ and ‘Multiculturalism’ = Death to America’s Stability
Multiculturalism piece by Grant Swank
(3/3/08)
Liberals delight in two prime words: ‘diversity’ and ‘multiculturalism.’
Our laws concerning child support jurisdiction are nuts and unfair to fathers.
Femi-Nazis piece by Guest:
Timothy Decker (3/3/08)
Under the Full Faith and Credit Clause, states only have to honor judgments to the extent they would be honored in their state of rendition. If a judgment could be modified where it was originally made, under the Full Faith and Credit Clause another state could modify the judgment, since states only have to credit judgments to the extent they are credited in the state that originally made the judgment. Congress then took the wacky and nonsensical position that under the Full Faith and Credit Clause itself, states could be compelled to give foreign child support judgments more credit and effect than they are actually entitled under the Full Faith and Credit Clause, which is exactly the opposite the clear interpretation of the clause by the United States Supreme Court. Thus, even though under the Full Faith and Credit Clause foreign child support judgments may be modified if modifiable in their state of origin, Congress passed a law supposedly under the Full Faith and Credit Clause stating the exact opposite. The law is called the “Full Faith and Credit of Child Support Orders Act,” which compels states to not modify judgments even though under the Full Faith and Credit Clause they are allowed to do so because they are modifiable in their state of origin.
Hate Thy Neighbor - An Examination of Islam
Islam piece by Guest:
Aaron Velasquez (3/3/08)
Right Side News - My curiosity about Islam was piqued in the 1990s when I was completing my masters’ degree at St. Johns College. A special section was offered on the Koran and I decided to take the class. During the semester my classmates and I read the book from cover to cover, in English and Arabic. About halfway through the course I realized that the Koran contradicts itself. It became apparent to me that Islam couldn’t help but be schizoid. Some verses said to “respect the people of the book,” that is, Jews and Christians, while other verses spoke of putting the same people to the sword.
‘I just don’t get it???’
Immigration piece by Guest:
Carolyn Hileman (3/3/08)
I consider myself an intelligent person, I follow the news and know what is going on in the world but I just don’t get it. We have people all over the country throwing a fit because they think that the oil companies are using dirty tricks to raise their gas prices and yet no one seems to care that there are a lot and I do mean a lot of businesses who are using what amounts to slave labor to keep their prices lower than others and run them out of business. I have heard from some people who openly admit to working with if not hiring them and these people have no shame about it, as a matter of fact one said he prefers them to the American chimps on welfare, it does not get much plainer than that.
The Affirmative-Action Campaign
Progressivism piece by Thomas Brewton
(3/3/08)
Senator Clinton’s campaign emphasis on skill and experience is out of harmony with affirmative action, in which diversity is the prime criterion.
Mathematically Impossible
Elections piece by Adam Graham
(3/3/08)
Mathematically impossible has become a phrase those who’ve watched coverage of the Mike Huckabee presidential campaign have heard ad nauseum. I become very wary of overused phrases, because they sound very much like talking points rather than facts.

Support the Troops by Untying Their Hands
Bird-Brain Flu piece by Chuck Muth
(3/2/08)
Barack Obama’s website says, “Support the Troops. End the War.” But if Democrats like Obama truly want to “support the troops,” they’d put pressure on the Pentagon to stop prosecuting them for doing their jobs. The latest outrage is this month’s court martial of two heroic Marines over the so-called Haditha “massacre.”
The MSA: Segregation Not Integration
Islam piece by OffSite
(3/2/08)
Muslim students at Australian universities have demanded that class schedules be changed to work around their prayer times, and that male and female students be provided with separate cafeterias and recreational areas.

FEMA Accused of Creating Health Hazard
Big Brother piece by Jim Kouri
(3/1/08)
In spite of all the talk in both houses of congress about revamping or restructuring the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), there’s a new Hurricane Katrina scandal brewing in Washington.
Rejecting Denunciations
Elections piece by J.J. Jackson
(3/1/08)
Hillary Clinton is proving one thing - she is no Bill Clinton. When it came to having a way with words, her hubby Bill could make you believe that everything he said made sense. Even if what he had to say was absolute nonsensical gobbledygook.

Elections piece by Grant Swank

All these posts in cyberspace detailing reasoning. It’s logic they posit.
‘Did Angelina Jolie Just Call for US to ‘Stay in Iraq’?’
General piece by Warner Todd Huston
(3/1/08)
In a recent editorial published in the Washington Post(1), an unusual call for the USA to ‘stay’ in Iraq rang out with pleas for the US to commit even more money and resources to help rebuild that war torn nation. Published under the byline of Angelina Jolie, the piece said that, “we have finally reached a point where humanitarian assistance, from us and others, can have an impact.” This editorial is unusual because the Washington Post is usually filled with tales of how we have failed in Iraq and how we should just get out, but here is this one saying we are now at a place where leaving would be the worst thing we could do. One wonders if this article will find the name of Angelina Jolie used as an epithet by the get-out-now, anti-war set from among the netrooters and the MSM? Or will her celebrity and long standing interest in humanitarian efforts give her cover with the same sort of people?
Excusing Berkeley
Progressivism piece by AccuracyInMedia:
Bethany Stotts (3/1/08)
The Berkeley City Council’s decision to declare its local U.S. Marine Corps recruiting office “unwelcome and uninvited intruders” has sparked considerable controversy throughout the nation. With S. 2596, also known as the Semper Fi Act, now in the Senate and with 12 cosponsors, this controversy seems to have intensified, prompting news articles critical of Senator Jim DeMint’s (R-SC) proposed “retaliation.” Should the legislation pass, the city of Berkeley would lose $2.3 million in earmarks.
A Delegate Situation: Parties exercise no self-control
Elections piece by Daniel Clark
(3/1/08)
Groucho Marx used to say that he refused to join any club that would have him as a member. Following that rule, he could have registered with either of our major political parties without fear of contradiction.
‘Radical Islam is Growing in the USA: Where Americans Anger?’
Islam piece by Thomas D. Segel
(3/1/08)
Harlingen, Texas, February 29, 2008: It is very difficult to understand why Americans are not enraged at the thought of any radical Islamic movement, particularly in the United States. But, being unconcerned seems to be an understatement, for Islam is rapidly expanding in this country, and there is already evidence that from evening prayer to the teachings of Islamic schools the tone is anti American and anti Christian.

Defense Department Told to Restore Military Readiness
Big Brother piece by Jim Kouri
(2/29/08)
US military forces, and ground forces in particular, have operated at a high pace since the attacks of September 11, 2001, including the support of ongoing operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
How Pat Buchanan (Almost) Ruined Conservatism
General piece by Guest:
Daniel Weir (2/29/08)
When I first heard of William F. Buckley’s death at his home in Connecticut at age 82, I was rather shocked and saddened. For WFB was probably my favorite writer, pundit, columnist, commentator, and TV personality since I became politically aware in late 1973, right after the Yom Kippur War and the first oil crisis. Buckley did not invent conservatism, but he refined it and made it politically viable. In the current slang, he gave it “street cred.”
Obama will win the nomination but lose the election
Elections piece by Guest:
Ted Belman (2/29/08)
I thought I would begin with a prediction. “Obama will win the nomination but lose the election.”
Barack Obama’s Word Games
Elections piece by Frank Salvato
(2/29/08)
Much is being made of Barack Obama’s oratory skills. True, he is quite good when it comes to captivating a crowd of sycophants and this includes the lemmings in the mainstream media. But if words matter, as Obama (and surreptitiously Duval Patrick) claims they do, then we must acknowledge that in this case words do make the man, in this case Mr. Obama must be judged in his words and in the deeds that back-up those words.
Worst Economy Since the Depression? Maybe with the Next President

Why we’re not in another depression… but politicians could take us there.
The GOP Must Avoid Becoming Democrat Party Lite
Elections piece by Warner Todd Huston
(2/29/08)
After the disastrous loss of majority status that befell the Republicans in Congress with the results of the 2006 midterm elections, conservative members of the GOP—and even a few not so conservative—began floating a new sound bite mantra. We have “lost our brand” became the meme as House members fanned out to the media in an attempt to reassure the rank and file that they had realized their mistakes, were chastened, and were about to “take it back.”
Two Faces of Barack Hussein Obama
Elections piece by JB Williams
(2/29/08)
The Real Obama Record - Young voters swoon at his feet like prepubescent girls at a Beatles concert. Black religious charlatans like Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan are pimping for him from the pulpit. Old guards of the American Socialist movement like Teddy Kennedy, have latched on to his Elvis-like charisma and even mass media moguls like Oprah Winfrey and the liberal lame stream press have strapped on a harness to pull the Obama campaign wagon to historic Black Power victory.
‘Will Military Veterans Support Obama’s “Retreat and Declare Defeat” Strategy for Iraq?’
Elections piece by Mary Mostert
(2/29/08)
As things now stand, it appears that Barack Obama, if nominated by the Democrats and elected in November, may very well become the commander in chief of America’s military force. As commander in chief he actually would have the Constitutional authority, under existing legislation passed by previous, but recent congresses to implement the policies to do what he has unconstitutionally tried to force President Bush to do - pull out of the war on terror. His bill S 433, introduced in January 2007, would redeploy the Armed forces in Iraq and implement a “political settlement in Iraq, thereby ending the civil war in Iraq.” That sounds like a recipe for surrender to me.
“Net Neutrality”: Destroyer of Internet Freedom
Bird-Brain Flu piece by Ayn Rand Institute:
Alex Epstein (2/29/08)
Advocates of “net neutrality” are apoplectic amid reports that ISP Comcast slowed down file-sharing programs on its network. The FCC is threatening action against Comcast, while advocates of a new net-neutrality law sponsored by Congressman Edward Markey are taking the occasion to claim such legislation is necessary to protect “Internet freedom.”

We Say Goodbye To Our Founding Father
General piece by Dave Gibson
(2/28/08)
As if conservatives have not had enough grief as of late, we just lost the principle founder of our movement. William F. Buckley Jr. died February 27, 2008 at the age of 82. He died much as he lived, at his desk writing about the current sad state of political affairs, undoubtedly making the liberals look foolish. His wit and keen political and social insight will be sorely missed.
Global Cooling is a Serious Problem
Global Cooling piece by Bruce Walker
(2/28/08)
Scientist who study climate change have now come up with a new prognosis for the future of our planet: 2007 saw the greatest single drop in temperature in recorded history. The ice age which had been receding for the last few centuries seems to be returning. Global Cooling is a serious problem. The last time our planet suffered from global cooling, there was also a troubling increase in crop failures, disease and the decline of habitable areas (Greenland and Iceland, for example, had much more vegetation and warmth.)
Dump McCain
Elections piece by Adam Graham
(2/28/08)
John McCain’s condemnation of Bill Cunningham for his vigorous attack on the ability of Barack Obama to be Commander in Chief and for mentioning Obama’s middle name is the latest step in John McCain’s career of appeasing his enemies and attacking his friends.
When the smoke clears and the dust settles . . .
Elections piece by William D. Bailey
(2/28/08)
. . . and the babble of campaign talk is recognized for what it is, rhetoric, I hope and pray that there are enough Americans who will take time to search out and get down to some basic facts.
